CHOCOLATE & ORANGE TART
This is a go to dessert for anyone that likes chocolate and anyone who is willing to cook up a dessert, simple and effective.
It is what it says on the tin, nothing fancy and very delicious. Serve a little slice for a sweet kick at the end of the meal or a big wedge if you still have that big gaping whole come time for dessert.
I like to serve it with natural yoghurt or creme fraiche as I crave sweet, but only a touch. But it also pairs nicely with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh strawberries. Enjoy

240g 70% cocoa
170g butter
130g golden caster sugar
120g ground almonds
75g all purpose flour

Add 115g of sugar to your chocolate mixture, keeping 15g behind for the whites. Then add ground almonds and flour, mix well.
Separate your egg whites and yolks. Mix your yolks into the chocolate mixture.
Whisk up your whites with 15g of sugar until stiff peaks.
Gently fold your egg white mixture into your chocolate mixture.
