CAFE CLUNY -NYC

Charming The West Village Since 2006

Bright neighborhood bistro whose Franco-American offerings include weekend brunch.

My husband & I travelled to NYC for our dear friends wedding. The wedding was intimate in that there were only 20 of us in attendance as vows were taken in the Cob Cot in Central Park. We had 4 days in the city with a very small number of dear friends, it was wonderful.

The day after the wedding and the celebrations we were told that we would be meeting up for Brunch in a cafe in Greenwich village. This direction came from our friends who were locals and so it was highly likely that the location would be ideal for a relaxed and yet delicious catch up. We were not disappointed.

The ‘neighbourhood’ sat in the heart of Greenwich village which has a distinctly suburban feel for such a centrally located Manhattan location. The trees lined the streets and the roads were lacking the ferocious fast paced race of the Avenues.

You immediately felt at home and as if you should just grab one of the newspapers off the rack, order a black coffee & plate of pancakes and settle in for the long haul.

The 7 of us settled in and enjoyed a delicious brunch of poached eggs, pancakes, juices coffee, fruits, French toast and really anything that was on the menu!

The service was friendly and warm and the atmosphere comfortable and inviting. Well worth a visit.
